498 Cases Reported Statewide Monday

The state Department of Health reported 498 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 232,008. No new fatalities were reported.

A total of 101 new infections were identified Monday on the Garden Isle.

• Hawaiʻi: 25,184
• Maui: 27,443
• Kaua‘i: 11,112
• Moloka‘i: 921
• Lana‘i: 607
• Pending: 0
• Out-of-State: 5,498

A total of 7,964 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,262 have died.
