11 Deaths, 740 New Cases Reported Saturday

The state Department of Health reported 740 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the statewide total to 230,978. Eleven new fatalities were reported.

A total of 185 new infections were identified Saturday on the Garden Isle.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 160,728
Hawaiʻi: 25,034
Maui: 27,298
Kaua‘i: 10,949
Moloka‘i: 916
Lana‘i: 598
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 5,455

A total of 7,861 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,258 have died.
