2,929 New Cases Reported Tuesday

The state Department of Health reported 2,929 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 150,028. No new fatalities were reported.
A total of 180 new infections were identified Tuesday on the Garden Isle.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
- O‘ahu: 106,573
- Hawaiʻi: 16,307
- Maui: 16,664
- Kaua‘i: 5,627
- Moloka‘i: 558
- Lana‘i: 271
- Pending: 0
- Out-of-State: 4,028

A total of 5,376 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,105 have died.
