The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 461 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 72,352. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.

The state’s two-week average is now 567 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 6.9%. A map documenting new cases by district across all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 50,573
Hawai‘i: 8,981
Maui: 8,419
Kaua‘i: 1,796
Moloka‘i: 177
Lana‘i: 137
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,269

A total of 3,862 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 660 have died.

To date, a total of 1,932,578 doses of vaccine have been administered statewide, with 65.5 percent of the population fully vaccinated and 73.8% who have received at least one dose.
