County Offices to Close for Labor Day

County offices will be closed on Sept. 6 in observance of Labor Day.

Additionally, all refuse transfer stations, the Kekaha Landfill and all neighborhood centers will be closed. Puhi Metals Recycling Center will be closed on Labor Day as well as all HI5 Recycling Redemption Center locations.

Because the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools are closed on Mondays, staff will observe the holiday on Sept. 7. The pools will reopen on Sept. 8.

The schedule for residential refuse pick-up will remain unchanged. The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on its current daily schedule.
