New Shave Ice Shop to Open on Kaua’i

The Fresh Shave, a handcrafted shave ice company on the South Shore of Kaua’i, announced the grand opening of their first brick and mortar location on the island. The Fresh Shave began out of a vintage camper trailer in 2014 but ceased all regular operations in March 2020.

The Fresh Shave will now serve their products in Old Koloa Town on the edge of the Waikomo Stream, located at 5356 Koloa Road, Suite C.

“We are excited to grow into our very own space and to bring our all natural shave ice back to the South Side of Kaua’i,” said owner Priscilla Soule. “The Fresh Shave strives to use organic ingredients and local farm fresh produce in all of their products. Furthermore, their business model emphasizes sustainability and says no to single-use plastics.”

“We’ve worked so hard to build an earth-friendly brand that merges our background in education and our passion for good food,” she continued. “We are beyond thankful for this opportunity to resume serving our handcrafted shave ice.”

The Fresh Shave’s grand opening will be on Friday, June 11. It will be open Monday to Saturday from noon to 4 pm.
