The Pacific Missile Range Facility in Kekaha has reopened guest pass access application processing for new and renewal applicants following the temporary suspension of services due to recovery from Hurricane Lowell.
Eligible individuals can submit applications for guest pass access to the facility’s select recreational sites and beach access. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old, have valid identification and successfully pass a background check.
“We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we prioritized safety and recovery operations following Hurricane Lowell,” Commanding Officer Captain Robert Prince said. “Reopening guest pass applications is one of many efforts towards restoring normal services and supporting our personnel, families and guests.”
Applications are accepted Monday to Thursday, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the PMRF Pass and ID office located on Tartar Drive in Kekaha.
New and renewal applicants must complete all required forms and submit supporting documentation in person. A processing fee of $25 is due per guest pass card and is payable via QR code scan-to-pay option or by credit or debit card. Cash or check payments are not accepted.
Guest pass access remains subject to applicable security requirements, installation operating conditions, and designated Morale, Welfare and Recreation sites, services and business hours.
