Island Energy Services donated $25,000 to Kauaʻi Economic Development Board to support communities impacted by Hurricane Lowell.
Kauaʻi Economic Development Board is working with community organizations to coordinate emergency resources, food and supplies around Kauaʻi.

The contribution from Island Energy Services will support that relief work as residents and businesses continue to recover in the aftermath of the storm.
“Recovery takes neighbors, businesses and community organizations working together,” said Kauaʻi Economic Development Board Executive Director Jackie Kaina. “[Island Energy Services’] contribution will help us respond to needs across Kauaʻi as families and communities recover from Hurricane Lowell. We’re grateful for their support and their commitment to our island.”
The fuels logistics and marketing business headquartered in Kapolei, Oʻahu, also as part of its ongoing support of the ongoing recovery is donating Texaco gift cards for the upcoming Harvest of Hope community event at Grove Farm Park on Oct. 4, which was rescheduled from Sept. 27.
Island Energy Services operates two Texaco locations on Kauaʻi, in Līhuʻe and Kōloa.
“Folks across Kauaʻi have always demonstrated the ability to pull together to help each other in tough times,” said Island Energy Services Island Energy Vice President of Policy, Government and Public Affairs Albert Chee. “We are grateful to [Kauaʻi Economic Development Board] and its community partners for helping get essential resources to those who need them. As a Hawaiʻi company, we want to stand with Kauaʻi and support that work.”
