All forestry and wildlife lands and trails are closed to the public except:

The public is advised to use caution when entering any state parks and forest lands as unidentified and unmitigated hazards could still exist.
“[Department of Land and Natural Resources] appreciates the public’s cooperation with all safety advisories and patience with the long list of repairs and restoration work in the months ahead,” said Division of Forestry and Wildlife Administrator Marigold Zoll. “The compounding impacts of successive storms are affecting our ability to safely open certain areas in a timely manner, but we will continue to restore access as soon as possible.”
Refunds will be credited to accounts of anyone who misses camping nights because of storm closures.
The state Land Department will update its OuterSpatial app with the most current information about which areas are open and which remain closed. View updates on the app or by clicking locations on the department’s online map.
Visit the Hawaiʻi State Parks web page for additional updates about storm-related closures.
