Kauaʻi County Department of Public Works and contractor The Cutting-Edge notify the public about emergency lane closures scheduled this weekend along a portion of ʻŌmaʻo Road, weather permitting, in ʻŌmaʻo.
Closures are slated for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. They are necessary for emergency tree removal work.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane with alternating flow. Intermittent full road closures also could be necessary. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
Motorists should make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary closures, use alternate routes and allow extra time to get to their destinations.
No parking will be allowed in the work zones.
