Swell Summary
A moderate southwest swell will build in Friday and into the weekend, boosting surf across south and west facing shores to near high surf advisory. As Tropical Storm Nolo approaches from the south, surf is expected to become very large, rough and choppy, especially along south facing shores on the Big Island. North-northwest and northwest swells will keep surf slightly elevated along north and west facing shores. East facing shores will maintain rough, short period windwaves generated from the breezy trade winds.
