Hawai‘i REALTORS Charitable Foundation, the charitable arm of Hawai‘i REALTORS, is offering up to $1,000 grants to help residents affected by flooding and/or other hazards caused by Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala and Hurricane Lowell.
A total of $200,000 is available, provided by REALTORS Relief Foundation, which offers housing-related assistance to disaster-impacted communities through the generosity of REALTORS, state and local associations as well as industry partners.
The foundation encourages everyone in need of recovery assistance to apply for the funds aimed at helping offset impacts from the two tropical cyclones.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through Nov. 4, and then reviewed by the foundation.
“Hawai‘i REALTORS is committed to helping our local families recover as quickly as possible,” said Hawai‘i REALTORS Charitable Foundation President Moana Andersen.

REALTORS Relief Foundation disbursed $52 million-plus since 2001 in aid to more than 30,000 families nationwide.
National Association of REALTORS works with state and local associations to cover all administrative costs, ensuring 100% of all funds collected are distributed directly to disaster relief causes.
Nonprofit Hawai‘i REALTORS Charitable Foundation launched in 2020 to serve communities throughout Hawai‘i by supporting charitable organizations and their efforts to assist those in need.
The foundation most recently distributed more than $165,000 in grants to help Hawai‘i residents offset the impacts of the March kona low storms.
