Kaua‘i County offices, neighborhood centers and several public facilities will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day.
The closures will include all refuse transfer stations, the Kekaha Landfill, HI5 redemption centers, the Līhu‘e Redemption Center and the Puhi Metals Recycling Facility.
The Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools, which are normally closed Mondays, also will observe the holiday and remain closed Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The HI5 Redemption Center in Kōloa is scheduled to reopen Sunday, Sept. 6, after roads reopen following the Kaua‘i Marathon and Half Marathon.
The Kaua‘i Bus will continue operating on its current daily schedule during the holiday.
Regular county office hours and services will resume Tuesday, Sept. 8.
