An overnight water service shutdown is set for a portion of Umi Street from 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2 to 4 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 3.
The water service shutdown is necessary for the contractor to install a new waterline and will affect Umi Street from the roundabout to Rice Street
Customers located in the affected area are advised to prepare by storing enough water to meet needs, ensuring water heaters do not empty and avoiding using appliances that require water during the shutdown.
