Ocean Safety Bureau officials are advising no swimming or other water activities at Keʻe, Hāʻena, and Wanini beaches today due to high surf and strong currents.

For those swimming in the Hanalei Bay area, swimming is permitted only at the Hanalei Pavilion lifeguard tower or Hanalei Pier.

For up-to-date information about Kaua‘i ocean conditions and ocean safety, speak to a county lifeguard at any lifeguard station, call the Ocean Safety Bureau at (808) 241-4984, or visit its website.
