Anaina Hou Community Park in Kīlauea will kick off the New Year with 2 nights of improvisational dance music featuring an all-star lineup of musicians coming together at Porter Pavilion for an explosive new collaboration.
Tickets are on sale now for Island Dawn — a benefit concert in support of Kaua‘i’s ongoing recovery from Hurricane Lowell — scheduled for Jan. 1-2.

Musicians from The String Cheese Incident, Dead & Company, Primus and EOTO will come together for the first time exclusively on the pavilion stage at the Kaua‘i venue to make the worldwide debut of their new powerhouse collaboration.
Michael Travis (The String Cheese Incident, EOTO), Jay Lane (Dead & Company, Primus), Michael Kang (The String Cheese Incident) and Kyle Hollingsworth (The String Cheese Incident, Kyle Hollingsworth Band) will deliver 2 nights of spontaneous musical exploration, infectious grooves and high-energy improvisation audience members won’t experience anywhere else.
The four musicians — who have decades of combined musical chemistry, boundary-pushing improv and genre-defying performances between them — will come together to create something entirely new.
No 2 nights will be alike, and Kauaʻi is the only place to experience it!
