Children on Kauaʻi will have the opportunity next week to spend their fall days learning about horses, building riding skills, and exploring their creativity at Healing Horses Kauai’s 2026 Fall Horsemanship and Riding Camps.

The camps are scheduled for Monday, Oct. 5, through 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Healing Horses Kauaʻi on Kapaa Bypass Road.

The program costs $70 per day and offers children hands-on experience with horses in a small-group setting.

Camp activities will include horseback riding and horsemanship lessons, with an emphasis on building confidence and developing connections with the horses.

Children will also participate in Halloween-inspired arts projects.

Karin Stoll, founder of Healing Horses Kauaʻi, said that experienced instructors will lead the camp in a supportive environment.

Healing Horses Kauaʻi aims to give children the opportunity to learn about and interact with horses while enjoying Kauaʻi’s scenic surroundings.

Participants should bring a lunch, plenty of water, sunscreen, long pants, and a hat. Stoll also encourages campers to arrive ready to participate and have fun.

Space for the fall camps is limited.
