The Department of Public Works will be managing road resurfacing projects in Līhuʻe and Waimea from Monday, Sept. 21 to Friday, Oct. 2.
For all road closures, residents are urged to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary traffic modifications, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to reach destinations.
During this period, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.

Ulu Mahi Subdivision
Single lane closures and complete road closures are scheduled along portions of Pūʻā Nani Street, ʻAheahe Street, ʻAukoi Street, Palau Mahu Street, Kanani Street, ʻAheahe Place, Hili Street, Hili Place, Kepa Street, and Huna Street beginning next week.
The road closures are necessary for public safety and to allow the Department of Public Works Roads Division crews to complete road resurfacing work.
The work is expected to take two weeks and will occur on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday, Sept. 21, to Friday, Oct. 2, weather permitting.

Menehune Road
Single lane closures are scheduled along portions of Menehune Road for resurfacing work.
The road closures are expected from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Friday, Sept. 25, to Friday, Oct. 2, weather permitting.
