NOTE: In observance of Labor Day on Sept. 7 there will be no contraflow or lane closures unless otherwise permitted. The Kaua‘i Marathon and Half-Marathon also is scheduled Sept. 6, with several road closures necessary.

- Single lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50), in the northbound direction, between milepost 6.5 to 8.7 in the vicinity of Maluhia Road and Piwai Reservoir, on Sunday, September 6 from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. for the Kauai Marathon.
PUA LOKE
- Turn pockets closed on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50), in the southbound direction, near milepost 0.5 in the vicinity of Uahi Road, on Thursday, September 10 to Friday, September 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for paving onto Wehe Road.
PUHI
- Left turn pocket closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50), in the eastbound direction, near milepost 1.7 in the vicinity of Puhi Road, on Saturday, September 5 to Friday, September 11 for pavement repairs. for pavement repairs. Detour to Nohou Street for KCC access.
KIPU TO KOLOA
- Single lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50), possible in either direction, between milepost 3.4 to 6.6 in the vicinity of Haul Cane Road near the Kauai Humane Society and Maluhia Road, on Tuesday, September 8 to Friday, September 11 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for installing rumble strips and pavement striping.

- Single lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50), possible in either direction, between milepost 4 to 4.5 in the vicinity of Puuana Road, on Tuesday, September 8 to Friday, September 11 from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. for emergency tree trimming.

- Single lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50), possible in either direction, between milepost 5.9 to 6.7 in the vicinity of Maluhia Road, on Tuesday, September 8 to Friday, September 11 from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. for barrier installation and roadway reconstruction.

- Shoulder closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50), possible in either direction, between milepost 8 to 9 in the vicinity of Upa Road, on Tuesday, September 8 to Friday, September 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for Guardrail replacement.
LAWAI
- Lane shift on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50), possible in either direction, between milepost 9 to 9.6 in the vicinity of Upa Road and Piko Road, on Sunday, September 6 to Friday, September 11 from 8 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for reconstruction of weakened pavement.
