Emergency tree trimming to cause delays on Māluhia Road

Motorists should expect traffic delays along a portion of Māluhia Road on Tuesday as crews conduct emergency tree trimming work, according to the Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works.

The department and its contractor will have crews stationed in the work zone while the trimming is completed. Temporary closures may affect traffic flow in the area.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes when possible, allow extra time to reach their destinations and make arrangements for the anticipated delays.

Parking will not be permitted within the work zones during the operation.
