Water conservation notice issued for Princeville, Kalihiwai Bay Estates and ʻAnini Road

Princeville Utilities Co. and the Department of Water issue a water conservation notice, affecting customers located on a portion of Kūhiō Highway near Hanalei Plantation Road in Princeville, Kalihiwai Bay Estates on Kalihiwai Valley Road, and ʻAnini Road.

The precautionary measure urges customers to conserve water due to the expected severe weather conditions through the weekend. Customers are asked to limit water use to essential purposes such as drinking, cooking, laundry, and sanitation until further notice.

Princeville Utilities Co. intends to maintain water services to all customers, and the conservation notice was implemented to avoid a water outage. Customers are reminded that severe weather conditions such as high winds and flooding can cause power outages.
