The Department of Water has scheduled a water service shutdown for emergency mainline repair work affecting portions of Wailua Homesteads from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Aug. 11.

A leak has been detected in the mainline. An emergency water service shutdown may occur at any time if the leak ruptures further.
The affected areas include a portion of Kuamoʻo Road between Kimo Drive and Kaholalele Road; a portion of Kaholalele Road from Kuamoʻo Road past Pōmaikaʻi Street; Pōmaikaʻi Street; Huina Street; Kōkeanu Place; Waikōlia Street; and Lekiā Place.
