Lane shifts with possible lane closures on Haleko Road in the vicinity of Pua Loke Street in Līhu‘e are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, weather permitting.
The Kauaʻi County Department of Public Works said this is necessary for the public’s safety and to allow Kaiwa Construction to conduct roadway and waterline probing, a manual method used to locate underground buried water pipes or utility lines.
The department said motorists should use alternate routes if possible, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
