The test shutdown is scheduled 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 30, weather permitting, and will affect:

  • Old Mill Place.
  • Makai Road.
  • Smith Road.
  • Malino Road.
  • Portion of Kōloa Road.
  • Upper portion of Poʻipū Road.

This test will help officials further evaluate the water system and identify any improvements needed before a future shutdown is scheduled for water line improvements.

Customers located in the affected areas are advised to prepare by taking the following steps:

  • Store enough water to meet your needs.
  • Notify family, friends, tenants and neighbors.
  • Ensure water heaters do not empty.
  • Avoid using appliances that require water during the test shutdown.
