Single lane closure set for Kahiliholo Road through November

Crews will replace two concrete box culverts and 300 feet of guardrail on Kahiliholo Road from July 27 to Nov. 30.

Kahiliholo Road will be reduced to one lane for culvert repair work on weekdays beginning next week through Nov. 30.

The lane closure is necessary to remove metal culverts crossing Kahiliholo Road and replace them with two concrete box culverts. The project also includes replacing about 300 feet of guardrail.

There will be no full road closure. One lane will remain open to traffic at all times along an approximately 200-foot section of the roadway, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists should make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the traffic modifications and allow extra time to reach destinations. Reduce speed to five miles per hour and yield to oncoming traffic when traveling through the project site.
