No injuries reported following brush fire near Hanamāʻulu Beach Park

The Kaua‘i Fire Department has extinguished a brush fire in Hanamāʻulu near Hanamāʻulu Beach Park and Kapule Highway.

There were no threats to nearby structures and no reports of injuries.

The fire was first reported on Friday at 10:05 a.m. Firefighters stamped out the flames shortly after 11:05 a.m.

Personnel with the Līhu‘e Fire Station, Rescue 3, Tanker 3, the on-duty Battalion Chief, and the Kaua‘i Police Department responded to this incident.
