Records, firearms services hours modified for July and August

Kaua‘i Police Department notifies the public about changes to the Records Section and Firearms Services hours in July and August because of staffing needs and scheduled training.

Services beginning July 6 and continuing through Aug. 31 will operate under the following schedule:

• 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Monday and Wednesday.
• 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Tuesday and Thursday.
• 8 a.m. to noon: Friday

Records and Firearms Services will be available from noon to 3 p.m. Aug. 14 because of staff training.

Both services are closed on state and federal holidays.
