Kauaʻi Police Department advises the public about temporary road closures and traffic restrictions scheduled July 4, in the vicinity of Vidinha Stadium in Līhuʻe, to accommodate the 33rd annual Kaua‘i Hospice “Concert in the Sky.”
Closed at about 8:30 p.m. through the duration of the fireworks are:
- Hoʻolako Street.
- Rice Street (from Kauaʻi Veterans Memorial Highway to Hoʻolako Street).
Traffic flow from 8:30 to about 10 p.m. on Kauaʻi Veterans Memorial Highway will be northbound only from Kaʻana Street and southbound only from Halau Street.
Kauaʻi Police Department officers will be stationed at major intersections to direct traffic during the event.
Motorists should drive with caution and allow additional time to get to their destination — traffic delays are expected.
