County of Kauaʻi to close offices and facilities next Friday and Saturday
Kauaʻi County offices and facilities, along with swimming pools, refuse transfer stations and recycling centers will be closed for the holiday.

County of Kauaʻi offices and neighborhood centers will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.
Some county services will remain unchanged, such as the schedule for residential refuse pickup, and the Kauaʻi Bus will operate on its current daily schedule.
On Saturday, July 4, the following facilities will be closed: the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools; all refuse transfer stations; the Kekaha Landfill; all HI-5 Redemption Centers; and the Puhi Metals Recycling Facility.
Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume Monday, July 6.
