Coffee With a Cop returns in July to Kauaʻi after 4-year hiatus
Kauaʻi Police Department, in partnership with Kind Koffee Co., is bringing back Coffee With a Cop early next month in Līhuʻe.

Community members are invited to attend the event from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. July 8 at Kind Koffee, located at 3366 Waʻa-pā Road, for an opportunity to meet with law enforcement officers, ask questions and exchange ideas over a cup of coffee — or other favorite morning drink.
“After a 4-year hiatus, [Kauaʻi Police Department] is excited to bring back Coffee With a Cop to our community,” said Kauaʻi Police Chief Rudy Tai in a department announcement for the upcoming event. “Coffee stimulates conversation and builds bridges between law enforcement and the citizens that we protect and serve. We want to show that we’re here to talk story and listen.”
People are encouraged to attend and share concerns and more in a relaxed, neutral setting. There is no agenda, and no appointment is necessary.
Visit the Coffee With a Cop website to learn more about the concept and contact Kauaʻi Police Department at 808-241-1674 or via email at kpdpio@kauai.gov with any questions.
