Kauaʻi Fire Department is responding to multiple vehicle fire in Līhuʻe

A multi-vehicle fire is ongoing near the intersection of Kanakōlu Street and ʻEhiku Street in Līhuʻe.

The Kauaʻi Fire Department crews are patrolling ahead of brush and vegetation in the area, and there are no threats to nearby structures and no reports of injuries.

According to a preliminary report, the fire was reported at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, and crews have the fire under control despite active flames. Firefighters will remain on scene to continue suppression efforts.

Residents and visitors are advised to avoid the area as crews continue to work to extinguish the fire.
