Hawai‘i Department of Transportation notifies the public of the following lane closures, coinciding with road work, on weekdays — unless otherwise noted — through June 26 for state roadways around Kaua‘i.

HIGHWAY 50
PUHI TO KĪPŪ
ROVING SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction, between mile posts 2 and 4 in the vicinity of Anonui Street and Puʻuana Road, from 12:30 to 5:30 a.m. June 24 for herbicide application.
KŌLOA TO ʻŌMAʻO
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction, between mile posts 4.9 and 8.4 in the vicinity of Puneʻe Road, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. June 21-26 for installing rumble strips on the edges and striping. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.
ʻŌMAʻO TO KĀLAHEO
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction, between mile posts 8 and 13, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for landscape maintenance.
ʻŌMAʻO TO LĀWAʻI
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction, between mile posts 9 and 9.6 in the vicinity of ‘Ūpā Road and Piko Road, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. June 21-26 for reconstruction of weakened pavement.
HIGHWAY 51
NĀWILIWILI
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction, near mile post 0.8 in the vicinity of Lālā Road and Kapule Highway, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for installing pavement striping and markers on the roadway. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

LĪHU‘E
CENTER LANE CLOSURE in both directions, between mile posts 0.1 and 0.3 in the vicinity of Hardy Street and Poinciana Street, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. June 21-26 for waterline replacement. No left turns will be allowed through the work area.
LĪHU‘E TO ANAHOLA
ROVING SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction, between mile posts 4.5 and 13 in the vicinity of Kukuihale Road, from 1 to 6:30 a.m. June 23-25 for herbicide application on guardrails, signs and mile marker poles.
ANAHOLA
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction, between mile posts 13 and 14 in the vicinity of Kukuihale Road and ʻAliomanu Road, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for landscape maintenance.
KALIHIWAI TO PRINCEVILLE
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction, between mile posts 24.2 and 28 in the vicinity of Kāhiliholo Road to Emmalani Drive, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for striping.
HANALEI
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE in the westbound direction, between mile posts 2.6 and 2.8 in the vicinity of Aku Road and Mālolo Road, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. June 21-26 for paving work. Traffic will be detoured to Weke Road via Aku Road and Malolo Road.
WAIKOKO
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE in the westbound direction, between mile posts 4.6 and 4.8 in the vicinity of Waikoko Bridge and Lumahaʻi Beach, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for striping, planting, hydroseeding, and anchoring mesh. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.
HIGHWAY 58
PUA LOKE
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE in the eastbound direction near mile post 1.8, in the vicinity of Halekō Road, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. June 21-26 for sewer line installation.
HIGHWAY 550
KŌKE‘E
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction, between mile posts 0.4 and 4.6 in the vicinity of Huakaʻi Road, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for striping and pavement marking. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.
FULL CLOSURE, in the vicinity of Maʻule Road and Kōkeʻe Road, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. for full depth reconstruction and resurfacing. Use Kōkeʻe Road in Kekaha to get to Kōkeʻe State Park.
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction, between mile posts 3 and 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for landscape maintenance.
HIGHWAY 5600
WAILUĀ TO KAPAʻA
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE, between mile posts 0.8 and 3 in the vicinity of Kūhiō Highway (Wailuā) to Olohena Road (Kapaʻa) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. June 21-26 for pavement marking and striping. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.
