Taste of Hawai‘i Live is a live, shoppable experience streaming directly to your screen — no matter where you are.

The series — an opportunity to discover, shop and savor the foods, makers and products highlighted — kicks off this week with Hawai‘i Island chocolate makers and cacao growers, with a front row seat to the people, process and products that make the island’s food community extraordinary.

“Episode 1: Big Island Chocolate” premiers at 3 p.m. online June 18.

Those who log on to this shoppable food show have the opportunity to meet the makers, hear their stories and shop their products live. There also will be free giveaways and show-only deals.

Will you be in Kona that afternoon? Join the show in-person.

Head to Hale Cocoa Cafe & Kona Chocolate Farm at 79-7378 Māmalahoa Highway in Kealakekua and watch the show live alongside fellow chocolate lovers. It’s a community experience, so bring a friend, bring your family — make a night of it.

Even if you’re off-island, the beauty of this event is the entire experience will be streamed online, so anyone — family on the mainland or friends abroad, really anyone — can tune in to discover Hawai‘i-grown chocolate and shop directly from the makers in real time.

The more people who show up or watch online, the more it supports the local food community.

Plus, it’s all free to watch. The products also ship anywhere and they are 100% Hawai‘i-grown.

Visit the Taste of Hawai‘i website to register.
