More than 41K Hawai‘i residents join Schatz statewide telephone town hall
More than 41,000 Hawai‘i residents joined U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz, a Hawai‘i Democrat, on Thursday, June 11, for a statewide telephone town hall.

Schatz heard from constituents about several of their priorities, provided updates about his efforts in the Senate, and took questions from residents about several issues, among them including:
- Rising living costs.
- Federal funding.
- Housing.
- Health care.
“I always appreciate the chance to hear directly from people across Hawai‘i about their priorities and concerns,” said Schatz in a brief release about the telephone town hall’s turnout. “Mahalo to everyone who joined us … for a productive conversation. We’re going to continue working to make life more affordable and deliver federal resources to every part of the state.”
