Crews to install speed table to enhance road safety on Hauiki Road next week

Lane closures are scheduled along portions of Hauiki Road in Kapaʻa for speed table installation from Monday to Wednesday next week.

The Department of Public Works and its contractor, Maui Kūpono Builders, are announcing lane closures along portions of Hauiki Road in Kapaʻa for speed table installation, from Monday, June 15, to Wednesday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Flaggers will be positioned at the ends of the closures to direct traffic, and no parking will be allowed in the work zones during this time. Access to properties will be provided.

Please observe and obey all traffic controls, posted signs, and flaggers. Drivers should anticipate delays and allow extra travel time while driving through the work areas.
