A single-lane closure is scheduled on Rice Street in Līhu‘e, near ‘Ōlelo Christian Academy, on June 5 from 7 p.m. to approximately 1 a.m. on June 6, weather permitting.
This lane closure is necessary to repair a broken sewer manhole ring, according to a news release from Kaua‘i County.
Motorists are advised to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closure, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, parking will be restricted in the work zones.
Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
