The monthly test of Hawai‘i’s outdoor warning sirens is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. on Monday, June 1, and will occur alongside the Emergency Alert System test.

All statewide outdoor warning sirens will sound a 1-minute steady tone during the usual monthly test.

The test of the live audio broadcast segment of the Emergency Alert System is conducted at roughly the same time each month in cooperation with the Hawai‘i broadcast industry.

There will be no exercise or drill accompanying the test.

Members of the public can contact Kaua’i County Emergency Management at 808-241-1800 to report siren operation issues or malfunctions.
