Summer schedule begins at Kapa‘a, Waimea swimming pools

Kapa‘a Swimming Pool reopens Saturday, May 30, following repairs of mechanical issues that prompted its closure.

The reopening is making a real splash now, especially since the Kapa’a and Waimea swimming pools are transitioning to summer operating schedules.

Summer hours for both pools are:

• Sundays: Closed.
• Mondays: Closed.
• Tuesdays: 1 to 3:45 p.m. open swim.
• Wednesdays: Closed.
• Thursdays: 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. open swim; 1 to 3:45 p.m. adult swim.
• Fridays: 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. open swim; 1 to 3:45 p.m. adult swim.
• Saturdays: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. open swim; 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. adult swim.

Note: Both pools will be closed June 27 and July 25 for swim lesson graduations.
