The entrance to Keālia Beach near the lifeguard tower is scheduled to be closed from Wednesday through Friday, May 27-29, while crews complete maintenance work, according to the Kauaʻi Department of Parks and Recreation.

County officials said the temporary closure is needed so department staff can repair potholes in the area. Access near the entrance will be restricted during the three-day project.

For more information, the public can contact the department at 808-241-4460 or by email at parks@kauai.gov.
