The public is notified that single lane closures along portions of Po‘ipū roadway were extended.

Closures are now set to continue through May 29 along various parts of Ala Kīnoiki, weather permitting. They were originally scheduled to be finished by May 1 and are necessary for tree trimming along the roadway.
Work and the closures are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
Motorists are reminded to make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes when they can and allow extra time to get to their destinations if commuting through the work area.
Flaggers will be in the work zone directing traffic.
“Mahalo for your patience,” said Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works in an announcement of the extension.
