One-lane, intermittent closure is scheduled for Pāpalōa Road.

A one-lane intermittent closure of Pāpalōa Road in Wailua is scheduled for construction activities related to the rehabilitation of a sewage pump station on Tuesday.

The Department of Public Works and its contractor, Kiewit, will work on the pump station from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, weather permitting.

Motorists should make arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closure, use alternate routes, and allocate extra time to reach their destinations. During this time, no parking will be permitted in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
