Registration opens on Kauaʻi for free basketball clinic in partnership with UH Hilo

Kaua‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation announces registration will open soon for a free youth basketball clinic in partnership with the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo men’s basketball coaching staff.

The clinic is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Kapa‘a High School gym. It is open to boys and girls in grades 5 through 8.

Online registration is limited to 50 participants and begins at 8 a.m. Friday, May 8, at the Parks and Recreation website.

Participant check-in starts at 4:30 p.m. the day of the clinic. Everyone attending is asked to bring a basketball that suits their skill level, water bottle, athletic clothing and athletic shoes.
