Vrbo announced a Hanalei home as one of the 2026 Vacation Rentals of the Year, a collection of standout homes honored for exceptional guest reviews, trusted hosts and sought-after amenities.

The list features more than 50 properties throughout the United States and internationally, including family-friendly homes, large group getaways, luxury retreats, unique architectural escapes and nature-forward destinations.
The winning Hanalei “Tiki Home,” just 700 feet from world-famous Hanalei Bay, is the only vacation rental home winner in Hawai‘i and one of only 15 vacation rentals to be honored nationwide.
“Tiki Home” is a custom 4,500-square-foot home featuring 4 bedrooms that sleep 8 and 2 and a half baths. Lava rock details, custom-carved ʻōhiʻa beams and woodwork as well as a “Pirates of the Caribbean”-like theme made this home a favorite for families.
Partial ocean views from the back deck, along with mountain and waterfall views from the kitchen and living areas are also featured.
The Premier Host and Loved by Guests property earned more than 100 perfect 10/10 guest reviews.
More information about “Tiki Home” can be found at the Vrbo website.
The Vacation Rentals of the Year program is now in its fifth year. The annual list recognizes properties that exemplify exceptional quality, reliability and Vrbo’s high standards for stays travelers can trust.
Several of the homes have earned more than 100 perfect 10/10 guest ratings, reflecting the positive experiences guests can expect every time they book a Vrbo.
The 2026 U.S. homes span popular leisure destinations, including others in Seacrest Beach, Fla.; Big Sky, Mont.; Palm Desert, Calif.; and Charleston, S.C.

Also featured in the broader global collection are standout properties in Mexico, England and Germany.
