Kaua‘i Police Department advises the public about temporary road closures planned this weekend in Līhuʻe.
The closures are scheduled from 7 to about 8 a.m. Saturday, May 2, to accommodate the 47th annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk.
Closures will be in effect along the following roads:
- Hoʻolako Street (from Vidihna Stadium to Rice Street).
- Rice Street (from Hoʻolako Street to Umi Street).
- ʻUmi Street.
- Ninini Point Street.

Motorists should expect delays and are advised to drive with caution.
The Kaua‘i Bus Route 70, the Līhuʻe Shuttle, will not service Rice Street stops during the closure period. Riders are advised to use the ʻEiwa Street shelter as an alternate.
