An emergency road closure in Wailua is ongoing along a portion of ‘Ōpaeka‘a Road in the vicinity of Pulana Street for bridge cleaning and debris removal ahead of potential inclement weather this week.
The road is slated to reopen at around 2 p.m.
Motorists are advised to make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closure, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.

Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
