REMINDER: Kawaihau Road utility and excavation work continues in Kapa‘a

The public is reminded that utility and excavation work will continue throughout April on Kawaihau Road, from Kapuni Road at Kapahi Park to near the Kapahi Road intersection, in Kapa‘a.

A single lane closure is possible in either direction for portions of Kawaihau Road from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays to accommodate for the work.

Parking is not permitted in designated work zones.

The work is part of the Kapa‘a Homesteads Tanks Project, which will build two half-million-gallon storage tanks along with storm drain improvements and about 1,700 linear feet of water lines.

Residents, pedestrians and motorists are advised to follow directions of flaggers and obey posted signs.
