The Lydgate Beach Park Campground area will reopen on April 2, following the completion of scheduled maintenance.

The area closed on March 2 to allow the Kaua‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation staff and partner agencies time to thoroughly clean the area, perform grounds maintenance, and conduct repairs of the campground facilities.

The maintenance was scheduled to be finished on March 22, however, work was delayed due to the Kona low storms that hit the Hawaiian Islands.
