No Dictators Protests planned in ʻEleʻele, Līhuʻe and Princeville

Kaua‘i Indivisible invites Garden Isle residents to rally for the rule of law, against the Iran war, dignity of all people and more as part of No Dictators Protests on Saturday, March 28, around the island.

There are three peaceful, nonviolent rallies planned today:

  • 11 a.m. to noon: ʻEleʻele Bridge.
  • 3 to 5 p.m.: Rice Street, Līhuʻe.
  • 11 a.m. to noon: Princeville Library.

The protests are among thousands of others — including on other islands in Hawai’i — happening today throughout the nation.

Kaua‘i Indivisible is part of international grassroots movement Indivisible, created in 2017 and with more than 3,000 chapters in all 50 states and 10 foreign countries.

The nonpartisan, pro-democracy group — like its international parent organization — is dedicated to preserving American democracy through local action and informed civic engagement.

All Kaua‘i Indivisible members and supports are also welcome to celebrate after the rallies today with a special event hosted at Hale Līhuʻe, located at 4286 Rice St., immediately following the Līhuʻe protest this afternoon.

There will be food trucks, music by a DJ and equipment provided by supporter Kaua‘i Kustom Sounds and community fellowship.
