Road work to install a water line on Weke Road in Hanalei will begin Monday and continue for the next three months.
The Department of Water and its contractor, Koga Engineering and Construction Inc. (Koga Engineering), will be upgrading the water main infrastructure to meet current water system standards, including existing fire-flow requirements.
The road work will take place on Weke Road from ʻAnae Road to Mālolo Road from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays from Monday, March 23, to Tuesday, June 30, weather permitting.
Motorists are urged to use caution and drive slowly when commuting through the work area. Follow the directions of flaggers and adhere to posted signs.
