UPDATE: Salt Pond Beach Park restrooms reopen after water line repairs

Update at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb 22: The restrooms at Salt Pond Beach Park have been repaired and reopened, according to Parks and Recreation.

Original post at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22: Due to a water line break, Salt Pond Beach Park restrooms in Hanapēpē will be closed for approximately three to four hours today (Sunday, Feb. 22).

If emergency repair work takes longer than anticipated, the Parks and Recreation Department will have to close the park until further notice.
